I work as a licensed psychotherapist in independent practice with self-pay clients, offering psychotherapy exclusively online. This allows me to support clients wherever they are, whether living abroad, in a place without suitable local care, or with a daily routine that renders fixed in-person appointments difficult.
People seek my support with a broad spectrum of concerns. Trauma and its lasting effects are often at the center, in addition to depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive difficulties. Experiences of violence, including sexual violence, are a key focus of my work.
My approach rests on three methods: psychodynamic psychotherapy, Gestalt therapy, and EMDR for trauma processing. Rather than viewing symptoms as a malfunction, I understand them as the mind’s compromise, something that once made sense and now weighs heavily. We collaboratively examine the underlying patterns, beliefs, and inner parts that shape your experience and relationships. When these connections become not only understood but genuinely felt, your view of yourself and your past as well as the symptoms themselves typically begin to shift. I accompany you on this path; you set the direction.
My background encompasses training at the Therapeutic Institute Berlin, work in violence-prevention programmes, and a number of years in psychosomatic clinics. I have run my own practice since 2016, fully online since 2024.
