Prometheus Sailing is the aggressive yacht management company behind the Prometheus Sailing UK fleet of charter sailing yachts. Led by MD Simon Boulding along with his highly experienced team, that between them have over 90 years experience at running very expert:
– yacht charters
– flotilla sailing
– corporate racing events
– RYA sea school training
Having headed up Sunsail’s Port Solent based operations for 7 years, Prometheus Sailing was established in 2021 as the moment was right for the group to take over ownership and monitoring of the fleet.
Our name Prometheus Sailing was motivated by the Greek god Prometheus. His function in Greek mythology was to bring understanding and civilisation to mankind.
We operate the largest sailing school in the UK, instructing lots of people to sail annually. Also we introduce and educate many individuals to take pleasure in sailing through our corporate sailing activities. From this our company name was born.
